Love - It is our definition

Though I don't know Pastor Abiodun Fatonyibo in person, or anything about him beyond being the lead pastor of COZA, I am amazed at the comments and reactions of Christians to the whole allegation saga!

It is an exposure of the measure and content of our Christianity and what we have been building over the years; which is unfortunately very, very shallow!!

The occults, cults, other religions protect and defend their own, but Christians rubbish and vilify their own in public. It is very unfortunate that the church would need to learn from the world again; especially, how to love one another!!!

Haba, only in Christianity would a wounded soldier be casted out and abandoned to be eaten up by the enemy, or to nurse his wounds alone. So, very sad, that, some so called men of God that has bones to crush with him openly or secretly rejoice, in the name of one useless "calling a spade a spade"? I think envy is eating many up, and really need God's help and intervention very fast!

This is not to declare the man of God innocent of the allegation, but it is about our attitude as believers towards a member of the Body of Christ, whenever they either fall into sin, or accused of such. I won't malign my own brother in public for a mere allegation, but would rather stand by him and pray for him; even if the allegations are proven to be true later, it is the duty of his spiritual father and covering to deal with the issue, and reprimand and punish where necessary: and not given to public opinion or debate!!!

N. B:
There is a huge difference between a genuine minister of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and an agent of darkness who masquerades as genuine.
One belongs to the Body of Christ, which makes him, one of us; while on the other hand, the imposter has no part with us in the kingdom! Selah!
