THE TECHNOLOGY OF GOD’S PEACE AND HOW TO MAXIMISE IT!
PART 1 “Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the PEACE of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6, 7, emphasis mine); “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and PEACE, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14: 17, emphasis mine). “PEACE I leave with you, MY PEACE I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27, emphasis mine). God’s peace as largely misconstrued by many a Christian is not fundamentally emotive and/or atmospheric. It is a vital cohesive force by which God’s eternal person is constituted and His cause thrives – in spite of the seemingly endless barrage of contradictions and resistance concocted against Him. Without which God’s balance as an Infallible, Eternal Being would have been tipped ages ago. There are many more Scriptures that speak of God’s peace but the three quoted above would be sufficient for our brief three-part discourse.
A BRIEF CONSIDERATION OF THE TRINITY
Now, we must not forget that God is Triune just as we are tripartite. God’s triune nature or Three-Oneness means He is eternally one yet distinctly three. He is not three separate persons (or three Gods which is a Trinitarian error that views the Father as separate from the Son and Spirit. This is called tritheism. Tritheism is completely unfounded in Scriptures). The Father, Son and Spirit ‘are’ not separate but distinct. The word ‘are’ in the previous sentence is in quotation marks because when it comes to God’s Trinity, plural words should be used carefully and sparingly. And if at all used, it is for want of better words or expressions which is typical of language as being a lame tool for communicating God’s revelation flawlessly. However, the word ‘are’ is used cautiously only to convey the reality of the distinctness of the members of the Godhead.
