There were days when he tried to kill you there using accident, sickness and various circumstances but it was not given to him. These are signposts that the devil is not in control. Circumstances and situations may suggest that God has lots it this time, but you must know assuredly that the devil can never out smart God. God is and will always be in charge. 2. God can use the devil's initiatives to establish His purposes. Demons are disembodied beings which do not have any legality to dwell or operate on the earth realm. These beings are under the authority of the devil and do his business on earth. Just like God, for any Spirit to operate on earth, it will require a vessel (a body). So this demons use humans as their vessel and access point to the earth. There are two kinds of demonic oppression: 1. Demonization 2. Possession While a born again Believer can not be possessed, he or she can be demonized. Below are the means by which demons find access to dwell in human beings. 1. Ancestral Inheritance: every spiritual reality can be passed on from one generation to another. Gen 12:1-3 ".... In thee shall all the nations of the earth be blessed" Gal 3:13-14. We are children of Abraham today by the Inheritance of this promise. Standing in the Gap (The ministry of Supplication). Ezekiel 22:30 "I sought for a man among them to stand in the gap...." The responsibility of this functionary is to make up the hedge, because when ever the hedge is broken, the serpent will bite. Therefore, a man is required to makeup the hedge by standing in the gap. We must know that our God, is a God of righteousness, judgement, mercy, and grace. Righteousness demands that justice be done. Judgement gives a man what he deserves. Mercy suggests that, he should not be given what he deserves. Grace suggests that, he should be given what he does not deserve. So in the parable of the prodigal son, when he returned, he asked for mercy (I do not deserve to be your son, made me as one of your servants). According to justice, he deserves to be cast out. Exodus 15:26 "...I am the Lord that healeth thee." God wants to be known and identified by His people as a healer! God is desperate to maintain this identity of Raphah. Psalm 103:3 It is critical to God to retain the identity of a healer. "...healeth all thy diseases" God wants to be known as a healer. Salvation is not complete if you are saved and still sick. The same scriptures that accounts for salvation (deliverance) are same that accounts for healing. God must be called Rapha in our day and age. Isa 53:1-5 Deliverance from sickness is also part of the salvation initiative of Christ. He delivers from sin, as same as He heals sickness and diseases. The salvation package involves healing in it.
